BMCAWelcome to Big Meadow Creek Alpacas where you can view an exeptional herd of suri alpacas, bred for fine fiber, luster, coverage and conformation. I welcome visitors, individuals or small groups, to come to the farm and learn about alpacas and their fiber.

We treat the alpacas at BMCA with love and respect, so they are friendly and easy to handle. They are healthy and well cared for. We are a certified BVD-free farm. because we live so close (a 45-minute drive) to Washington State University, one of the premier alpaca veterinary schools, we have access to the finest veterinarian care available.

Although my focus is on using the fiber we get from the alpacas each year, I do have some alpacas available for sale. Prices depend on gender, color and breeding ability. I offer easy financing.

What We Do

I specialize in alpaca fiber, offering yarn made from the animals on the farm for knitters and weavers.

Spinners love our fiber--available raw (pre-skirted), washed raw, or in roving.

I love to knit with alpaca, so I also offer a variety of hand knit items. Visit my Etsy shop!

Alpaca manure--black gold--provides a safe, natural fertilizer for gardens. Besides using it on our own gardens, we've donated to both theTroy and Moscow community gardens. We also sell the manure if you come and pick it up.
